METHOCEL™ A15LV Premium

METHOCEL™ A15LV Premium is a high purity grade for applications when less impurities is a requirement. It can be used as a binder, lubricant, film former, and suspension aid. The product is commonly used in agriculture, coatings, inks, adhesives, and some speciality ceramic applications.

• Adhesives: METHOCEL™ A15LV Premium is used as a film former and binder in packaging and high-quality adhesives. It provides wet-tack, quick set, fast dry, and oil resistance in low viscosity adhesive products.

• Agriculture: METHOCEL™ A15LV Premium can be used in crop protection for drift control, stabilization, rheology modification with low viscosity level. It also works as a dispersing aid in wettable pesticides and fertilizers. It can be used to improve adhesion to waxy plant surfaces. The product is also used in seed coatings and spray adherents for better binding to seeds. METHOCEL™ A15LV Premium is listed in EPA inert ingredients and allowed to be used in crop protection products.

• Ceramics: METHOCEL™ A15LV Premium provides improved binding and excellent rheology control in ceramics, extrusion, and casting. It also provides lubricity, smoother surfaces and prevents sag or deformation.

• Coatings and Inks: METHOCEL™ A15LV Premium is used as a surface modifier, protective colloid and pigment suspension in coatings and inks. It provides outstanding film properties such as high tensile, strength, and elongation. It also improves workability and water retention for construction coatings.
