Application
IFF Cellulosics and poly(ethylene oxide) are used in coatings with diverse applications. The increase in performance and durability of waterborne coatings on the market today come as a result of solving key challenges in their formulation. Issues such as viscosity incompatibility both within the formulation as well as with a substrate will negatively affect stability, adhesion, and durability.
POLYOX™ and METHOCEL™ have had longstanding proven success in adjusting viscosities of coatings to fight separation on the shelf and ensure the resultant coated surface looks and performs as desired. IFF Cellulosics and poly(ethylene oxide) are used in coatings with diverse applications.
