TEXTURECEL™ 40000 GA is a granular Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) with a viscosity of 40000 cps.
TEXTURECEL™ 40000 GA can be used in gel packs, absorbent pads, ceramics, coatings and paint strippers. It is preferred in high viscosity systems with a low toxicity profile.
Gel Packs and Absorbents: TEXTURECEL™ 40000 GA is regularly used in absorbent pads, gel, and cool packs to provide non-toxic and high-density gel formation. It is also preferred over other polymer chemistries when green profile and food contact approval are required such as food packaging and medical application.
Ceramics: TEXTURECEL™ 40000 GA can be used in ceramic glaze application for improved thickening, stability, and gloss. It also used in ceramic tiles to improve plasticity and cracking resistance.
Coatings and Inks: TEXTURECEL™ 40000 GA is a natural cellulosic thickener that can yield high viscosity at a low level of use in general and green coatings.
